I have been playing Texas Holdem with my grandchildren using chips as money. The problem that I am having is one person will run out of "money" at one of the betting positions. Does, or can that player continue to play? If a bet is made, for example, of $20 and the next player has only $15 what happens then? This is the kind of thing I am talkinfg about.

Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

There becomes a side pot. Of $5 , This will go to the winner as long as it wasnt the short stack, If the short stack wins then the sidepot go's to the second best hand....

You can call any size bet with any size stack like racquet says but u may only ever win the amount u have put in the pot off each player should u take the pot. All additional funds go into a side pot as mentioned but note that if the short stack wins, the side pot is won by the person with the next highest hand.
