This weekend will be my first time i play live poker at a casino, just wondering what the players are likely to be like. The Vic is supposed to be one of the most popular in UK, anyone played with people in UK? what are they likely to be like eg, mostly fish or strong players. I will be playing PL 50 or PL 100.

I’d call The Vic the most prestigious rather than the most popular. As for UK players I don’t think you can generalise, e.g. I’m a UK player and so is Dave Elliot Smile

If I was going to make an observation it would be that casino play is tougher than on-line. I think it’s because people have to have a certain amount of self confidence in their knowledge/skills before they can overcome the intimidation of playing face to face.

However casino play is soooooo much more enjoyable it doesn’t even compare sometimes.
