I've been lurking here for quite awhile and have finally managed to get onboard. Here are the mockups of a touney set that I am having made. I have a certain special place in my heart for hotstamped chips ( I collect fractionals and small cardroom chips), and these fit my needs pefectly. They will be used for our weekly 10-15 person tourneys, and if I continue to win, there will be TR King cash game set in my future. Thanks all for the inspiration and its good to know I'm not the only one obsessed with little round discs.

Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I really like this. The idea is original and simple. That goes a long way with me, I don’t like things over done. Please post a picture of an actual chip when you can.

Those are the Chipco value chips right? What are they made of? And are there extra charges for hotstamp design (instead of plain vanilla lettering)?

Those chips are made from Nylon composite.

Yep, they're the chipco value chips. They are .20 each and .06 per side for the hotstamping. The custom die cost me $125. They sound and feel remarkably good (for the price), and are used in many casinos as ncv chips and fractionals.

Where did you get them at that price? Is that direct from Chipco? Kardwell sells them for 44 cents hotstamped. One of the guys in my poker group has them and they really are a nice chip...he's been thinking of picking up some additional colors.

Congrats - Nice simple design. Definitely not a Bad Idea
Can you get the diff colored Hot Stamping? Didn't know that was offered. Are you getting them directly from Chipco?
Thanks for posting,
Fins

Yes, I got them directly from chipco. They gave me a little grief on the different foil colors for the stamp but in the end I got my way. They didn't so much refuse to do it, but they they said it's "not something we do". They ended up charging me $5 per color change.
