Hello poker fans,
Just thought I'd give a brief rundown of my custom label making experience...
I purchased 500 nexgen 8002s (nexgen 2's)...and I know, many of you have expressed their distaste for the nonsensical edgespots, but I didn't mind the green, purple, and black chips, which make up 95% of my chipset.
The challenge of course was to match so many different colors, yet maintaining some semblance of consistency among the labels...
I went to Jason E. (http://www.pokerchiplabels.net) with an extremely specific design idea that was quite involved and intricate...meaning I was a pain in the ass to work with, as I was extremely picky...he was extremely accomodating with respect to responding to somewhat nonsensical requests, and was willing to work on it until I was satisfied.
I have recieved my labels and are finished putting them onto the chips..their prompt arrival was within Jason's quoted time...and they look fantastic...
I would recommend Jason to anyone interested in custom labels...you will not be diasappointed!
Please feel free to comment/critique/bash the pics...I welcome any feedback as this is a trial before I invest in a set of custon clays...

Wow.
Those are really nice.
There should be no bashing, in my opinion. This coming from the person that bashes everything.

These are nice; the design goes very well with the chips. Unfortunately this also means I'm in agreement with yeltzen, never thought that could happen...

It's not my fault that I'm always right and you choose not to be!

I would also like to see them up closer...your chips are making me reconsider my opinion of the new Nexgens.
Looking good there!

They look great . Nothing clashes ,everything blends together. I didn't get the new ones because the chips looked to busy but you nailed it with that design ,great job man. And I consider myself a basher too. No bashing here. I'm speechless.

thanks for the comments...I will be getting my digital camera back sometime tonight and will show a few side views of the stacks shortly after...
may your flops be kind!

here's a side view of some large stacks that was requested...
the flash picture oversaturates all the colors so although this pic is dark and a bit fuzzy, it is a better estimation of the true colors...although still not the best as you can really see the white, light green and light blue spots on the purple...
cheers
PS I welcome any criticisms and suggestions

pretty sure i counted right but are the left two stacks 100 and the right stack 75? To me the edgespots look good, and very unique to the chip, nice chips.

ford69,
yeah, they are 100, 100, 75...any more than 100 got a bit dicey with respect to tipping over...

For the untrained people, they look just like the real clay chips.

Who did the labels?
Great job.

pinataUT,
check the first message in this thread...
but in brief, I had the specific color scheme and design in mind...I provided the individual image components, and Jason did a great job formatting the placement of the components and color matching with the chip and spot colors...

My bad - missed it.
Great use of those colors.
