We decided to have a little mini tourney. 3 of us agreed on no limit hold em $10.00 buy in winner take all with blinds doubling every 15 hands starting at 1-2 and us having about 100 chips. Only lasted into the 4th round cause I was getting all the cards. got a 4 of a kind As on the third hand and an intersting hand very near the end. Still three players with me over 3/5ths of the chips in play and I am Big blind with J6 off. 1st to act limps in and small blind follows and I check. Flob come 6 3 6 rainbow. I am thinking YESSSS, SB checks, I check and 3rd bets minimum. SB folds and I straight call. Turn is an 8. I check again hoping my opant will pair something and he bets again. I contemplate a raise but just call. River is a 6, BAM I have my 2nd quads in an hour and bet out double the minimum. He is a little upset about the card and ponders all-in being so short stacked but just calls with his pocket 3s. Whew, I was behind till the river. Anyway I went on to take the $30 pot when I called the preflop all-in with my 55 against a suited big slick.

Not really sure where it came from. A friend who knows I love poker sent it to me to use as an avatar on one of the car forums I belong to.

It would be sweet if I got a tournament off the ground at work. That might not work well in a restaurant... unless maybe some customers wanted to play. We have a huge multitable tournament. :D
