Pit Boss Chip cases?

Posted Fri Mar 04, 2005 4:35 pm GMT by Mechanic
I went to a local shop looking for a case. I saw this aluminum case and it seems very well constructed...was as much as to be expected for a poker chip case.

Anyone have any experience with these? I am kinda leery because the top is lined with felt, like the chip portion but it has egg crate foam as well that is not covered by felt. If you pull the egg crate foam piece out, the chips move too much for me.

Any help would be appreciated!!

I use these cases exclusively. They are much better than the average econo-case. They are locking cases & use solid aluminum, instead of the "corrugated" flimsy ones. I would recommend them. I'd also be happy to sell you one. www.theplayasclub.com

Do NOT get that case. There are lots of alluminum cases out there, and that's a bad one. The alluminum feels cheap (like plastic) and the inside is more of a foam feeling than anything. Get one of the cases on 5Star or wherever else they sell them that has the green or red felt inside. They're like $11 on 5Star, but they actually feel sturdy.
