NJ Desert Sands On-Sale - Possible Group Buy? |

Was searching some chip sites tonight and noticed at www.nevadajacks.net has the NJ Desert Sands Composites on sale this weekend. $300 for 500, but if you buy 2-500 piece sets, you get a third free.
$600 for 1500 of these chips seems like a pretty solid deal.
I am possibly interested in 500 (maybe 1000), but probably not 1500. Just curious if anyone else out there is interested in spliting up some of these bad boys.

that's a deal that I might have to take...I will go to the site and get info...I am in Canada so I want to check out shipping and brokerage fees and taxes before I say yes but if its all reasonable, I'm in...

I am good for 300 chips. I already emailed NevadaJacks, and he told me he could send me a 300 Set, and send the others elsewhere, as long as everyone pays their own shipping. I would get 500, but these chips are not for me. I plan on giving them as a gift.

I just heard back from NevadaJacks again, he said he could ship to multiple locations for no extra charge. Im not sure about Canada though.

I am not sure if Nevada Jacks has 400 chip cases. They only sell 300 and 500 sets on their site. If they only have a 300 case, would you be willing to take a 300 Set and 100 loose chips?

that would bring it to 1100 if jtnt would buy those 500 at least with 1000 it would be 1600.......btw do you know how much it would possibly be for the 300?

If someone wants to get rid of a chips(50) Id add them on to my set for the purchase price.

I'd be interested in participating with anyone in the SF Bay Area/San Jose area who would be interested in full 500 piece sets (don't want to mess with partial sets). Pick up in San Jose, cash only, pay for your share including your share of shipping charges. PM me here with your contact information and demonination reqirements no later than end of today and I'll order them tomorrow.
The Nevadajacks site indicates that shipping and handling to the West Coast is $50 for a 2 set order by UPS Ground. So figure $16.67 or about $17 for shipping per 500 piece set (and also sales tax if they collect it).

For those that dont know, I am organizing the Paulson group buy. I think I will organize a mini group buy of these as well. If you are interested, PM me with how many chips you want and we can work it out. Your chips will be shipped directly from NevadaJacks. Im not 100%, but Im pretty sure you could also pay NevadaJacks directly as well. I am good for 300 chips.

I just emailed NevadaJacks to see if he will assist us with a group buy. Things would be alot easier if we could all pay him directly and have him ship to us directly. I will update when I hear back from him. From my dealings with him in the past, he usually answers his email within an hour.

NevadaJacks has asked me to compile a list of buyers so he can have his sales associate contact each person to handle the sale. This deal ends tomorrow at midnight. I am submitting the list to him tomorrow morning. If you want in, PM me your info ASAP.
The price for a 500 set w/ case is $225 ($200 + $25 shipping)
Im not sure the shipping on a 300 set, but you can maybe negotiate with him when you are contacted for the sale. The price for the set without shipping would be $120.

Thanks a ton for organizing this Nugzy. I spoke with NJ's late yesterday afternoon about the promotion and it sounds like the shipping is a flat $50 if you order two sets and the third set would be free including shipping. This is a great deal for those who just need one or two sets without being burdened with having to unload the third set. Thanks again.

My NJ's just arrived and man they are sweet. They are a huge improvement over the 11.5 gram dice chips i have. they have a very chalky feel, so much that i had some white chakl on my fingertips from removing them from the boxes. I cant wait to break em soon...

You will love them, trust me on that one as I sit here organizing the 1500 NJ ceramics I have.  The only chip I've handled that felt and sounded better than these are the new Paulsons. So, for what you paid for the Desert Sands, you got an absolute steal.

I missed out.
I want 1000 chips (actually 1500), but if we could get another buy going to get the extra 500 that'd be great. I'll call them Monday and see what I can do.
Does anyone have any better ideas?
