I plan on buying 500 poker chips in the near future. I am currently leaning towards the Nexgen’s River Poker Tour chips, because I like the look of them over most of the other chips in my price range. However, I am curious to know what other people’s opinion are of them are. I also would like to have custom stickers printed for them, but I really don’t know who provides this service at a reasonable cost with stickers that won’t come off easily.
When it comes to custom stickers I was wondering if there was some sort of limit such as 3 or 4 colors in printing, since most of the labels I have seen seem pretty limited in their color palette. Also just for kicks I have started working on my labels for my future chips under the assumption there will be no color restriction when it comes to printing, and I am interested in what you guys think of my design. Since it is still in the design stage (I haven’t even got the chips yet) feel free to criticize.

I like the label design. Here's Lynbarks link for custom labels. There's another dude, but one of my friends got good service from this guy. http://www.ciretech.com/lynbark/
Only problem I see is your $100 & $500 chip colors are mixed up.

Since I am from and live in Louisiana I thought a hint Mardi Gras would be an interesting way to personalize the chips; however, I didn’t exactly want Mardi Gras styled chips. So, I felt a subtle way to inject a little Mardi Gras without over doing it was to have most of the chips in play the colors of Mardi Gras Yellow, Green, and Purple. The only time the 500 chips would really ever be used is for add-ons or rebuys, and I chose the black chip for this because it is Nexgen’s only other RPT chip that has the same style of edge spots as the other chips. That is the story behind the color choices for the denominations; however, I was almost positive the first question I would be asked is, “What does laissez les bon temps rouler mean?” But I guess everyone is up on their French. :D
yaw, thanks for the link. It looks like full color labels aren't a problem. I also noticed in another thread http://www.pokerchiplabels.net, and it looks like they do good work as well.

I like the design but didn't vote 'casue I think it could use a little refining...
• The denoms are hard to read... maybe a constant contrasting color from chip to chip
• The Joker in the wrap is hard to distinguish b/c it doesn't make a good silouette
• Not carzy about the same joker in the middle 'cause I don't like the colors - maybe diff color would look better... someone used that joker and did a great job of matching the the joker to the chip colors (check out or look in Ky70's thread on 2+2 might have been there... can find it in the link I provided below)
• The suits in the wrap are too large relative to the text
• Seems odd to start reading the text at 1pm
Just some thoughts... if you didn't change a thing I think they still look good.
Read thru all the links in this thread for some helpful info.
RE: Colors - usually laser printers are used so you're colors will be CMYK colors.

PS - Forgot to add that I like the RPT chips colors vs Nexgens but I might check out RPT vs Nexgen comments thread just to be informed.
