10 handed PL 100 game at the vic.I am holding 34o on button and call in a family pot unraised. Flop falls A 2 9. Everyone checks to me , i check too. Turn 5. :D I made the nut straight. Guy utg bets 10 pounds, everyone folds to the man to my right who raises the pot to something like 55 pounds, then i re raise the pot leaving me with 50/60 pounds left he thinks and puts me all in for the last of my money at the table.
We dont flip over, the river brings an ace and I know I am beat . He announces full house and flips over A 2. I show my straight just so he knows i had him beat on turn.
Little annoying cos he didnt play his hand that well. The flop brought two clubs so he should'nt try check the flop imo then he lets me outdraw him and he gets outplayed and still comes back to win the pot. Never mind played again on saturday and cashed out for 930 form a buy in 150 .

You played the hand well I think. If nothing else, you had a player that you were ahead of pushing at you when you were holding the nuts. It sucks that he caught on you when he played the hand the way he did, but that's poker. Well played. You got your chips in when you had the best hand. There is not much more that you can do than that.
