Can someone please help me with this also.
I was wondering why I would have lost this hand – I had a A3458 low and my opponent had only a 23457 low. The hand number is hand #123,456,789. Does your program always make mistakes like this?

Start from the top down, he had 7 low you had 8. 7 low wins.

In Hi-Lo or Razz, the highest card in your hand is the one that matters, not the lowest.
In your example, your opponent had a 7-low. You only had an 8-low. The ace only would've mattered if your other 4 cards were the same, i.e. A3457 vs 23457.
