I knew I'd post one sooner or later... turns out to be the former ;P
UB Ultimatepoints, NL table...
Bought in for 1000.
A couple hands later, the blinds have passed me by, and I'm at 965. Nothin worth playin yet.
Early bettor doubles the blind pre-flop. I call, and big blind calls.
I'm on J K clubs.
Flop comes. A J J Rainbow
Check to the raiser, he bets 50, I call, BB folds.
Turn comes... 3
Raiser goes all in.
I put him on A x. No straight or flush out there to speak of. I call.
He shows A 10o.
Pair of Aces to my trips.
I'm the 22:1 favorite at this point, if my math is not failing me.
And we all know how this story ends.
I know I know, that's poker... and it's not the worst beat of my life either, but I just always need to rant about anything like this hehe.
