Question about long and short Paulson canes |

Hi - I just got a set of 10 Paulson chips off eBay. (I'm slowly building a mixed set) and I noticed that 2 of them were a different mould design to the others.
I'm not an expert (yet!) so I did a bit of research and it seems that 8 of the chips are short cane, and the other 2 are long cane. If you know what I'm talking about then you'll know that the differences are not really noticable unless you're looking for them.
I just wondered if it's common to get the two different moulds mixed together when buying a set, and if the value of the set (if I wanted to sell it on at a later date) is compromised by being mixed.
Do these differences matter much to collectors? Is one design rarer than the other? Should I ask the person I bought them off for replacements? Is it something I should mention if I were to sell them?

There's more variations than that... check here if you haven't already.
Might contact someone at CCGTCC to see about the value etc...
As far as being common (I don't know but I doubt it), it's probably something which should have been disclosed in the item description... I'd say it's up to you to decide if it bothers you... kind of cool IMO and it's subtle... post some pics!!!
