All in with my last 3 dollars |

I was in a game yesterday $25 sit and go NL at EmpirePoker and was getting crap for cards. I have what I believe is a very large amount of patience. So i'm sitting at the table, and the bets are bigger than average (pre-flop). The bets are starting at $6 all the way up to $25 (and considering that you sit with $25, that's pretty high). So i continue to post my .25c bb (when the chance comes that nobody has raised) and most of the time someone after me raises a crazy amount. I fold etc... It went on like this for some time. I went through my first 25 dollars in 1.5 hours.
(side note: at one point in that first hour i was so used to clicking fold that I did so by accident when holding KK... after kicking myself for my pure stupidity, i was relieved to see that my KK would have lost in the end to a str8 that showed up).
Then i cash in for another 25. At this point I have played for almost 2 hours and still have not won a hand, NOR was I ever the holder of the nuts on any hand to that point (of hands that I saw all the way through). I've hit some dry spells before, and for this type of money its no big deal. But finally it comes. I get AKo. Bet comes to me, I raise a $3 bet to $6 dollar bet (at this point in the game this is only abnormal because I'm in the pot. Other than that, its a normal bet for the game). About 5 people call. The flop comes rainbow, high card 9. terrible flop for me. Nobody bets, and it comes to me. I bet $6 more to build the pot and not to give anyone the cheap card. 3 people stay in (call). next card is insignificant. Still no pair/flush/str8 possible. Bet comes to me again and I bet another $10 this time. 1 person stays in calling my 10 dollars, and the last card comes. It still doesn't help me. I raise ALL-in (with only about 3 dollars). It must have been because i went all in, and because that person had nothing, but that last person folded with a 3 dollar bet in front of them. I can't remember what the pot was (i think it was somewhere around 70-80) but the 3 dollars it would have cost them to stay in would almost surely have won them the pot as i sported only Ace high.
It might sound crazy that i continued to bet like that, but i felt like i was reading the people and their actions. Only on that last bet (when i went all in with my last 3 bucks) did i think i was going to loose the hand. Anyway, that is my story for now.

nice story, it worked out well in the end.
i hate it when you don't pay attention and you have this really good bluff going and then on the river you realize you have like 3 chips left. or when you try to bluff someone and then when you throw in your chips you realize he's really short-stacked and really has no option but to call.
