Is it a Check or Call when Big Blind does not raise |

Hi All,
I was wondering if it's a "Check" or "Call" when the Big blind does not raise and just wants to see the FLOP. Obviously, someone "call"ed the Big Blind, but doesn't the Big Blind just "Calls" since there's a bet ahead of him equal to the Big Blind amount?
Thanks,

The player who has placed the Big Blind bet is considered to have made a bet "blind" (i.e. prior to the deal) which all other players must call in order to continue in the hand. Thus, if everyone only calls the Big Blind's bet, he obviously can't also "call" since it was his bet that everyone else is calling! But the Big (and small) Blind is considered a "live" blind, which means that the bettor has the option of raising his own bet when it is his turn to act. What he is doing by not raising is, in fact, not exercising his option to raise his own bet, and thus he is "checking" his option to raise.

No need for a poll on this one......
It's a check.

to be super technical, the small blind bet out and the big blind raised once.
Blinds are very simple - think of the blind players as having credit toward the opening bet in the amount of their blind. That's the ONLY thing that makes them special.
And it's refered to as a check, because it's a decision not to act when the option exists...
