Anyone catch this one (either last night or before)? This was the one where they showed highlights from the final table, with Greg Raymer providing commentary.
The commentary wasn't anything earth shattering, but it was interesting to hear what Raymer had to say about some of the hands.

How come? I didn't find it that offensive. There was a little self-puffery, but I mean, come on, give the guy a break, he won the WSOP.

not just any WSOP the biggest one ever, with 2700 people in it. Thats no easy task.
on a side note, lets hope for a prefessional to win it next year so they can stop complaining about all the amateurs winning. (helmuth.... im looking in your direction)

It was like an ass-kissing fest. Some of the players made really idiotic plays, but Raymer was there to let everyone know that he thought they were "perfect". Please. "Oh, Josh Arieh is a great guy! He's just misunderstood". What the hell ever.
BTW, wasn't is so cool how they incorporated Arieh's "bust this mother f*cker" into TILT!! AWESOME!!!!

I dunno, something about the guy rubs me the wrong way. The whole "I made the correct play, but so did _______, because ....." got old quick.

I don't know, I think you all are being pretty harsh.
In a lot of the "both players played it right" circumstances, that was in fact the case.
He pretty much did dump on the one guy who played really poorly at the table (Matt Dean).
As for Josh Arieh, how else should he have handled it? Arieh is a huge jerk, but Raymer saying so isn't going to make it more true.

I also don't understand the hatred against Raymer. He seems like a nice guy who played well and got lucky when he needed to.

I dont like Raymar just cause of the glasses....
I actually kind of like the guy, but he really should lose the glasses.

lol... u can cheat online by getting things called card scanners i beleive.. shows other players whole cards... you pay to download this cheat... why would raymer cheat online after winning 5 million?

I was watching Raymer play on Pokerstars about a month ago and if he was cheating, he wasn't doing a very good job of it. 
I did hear a rumour that he kicks puppies and eats babies though.

cards scanners? thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard in my life deadmoney. its almost 100% server side software with crazy multi levled algorithms and super encrytption.
maybe it works in play money, but it most definatley doesnt in real money, this isnt age of empires, this is a billion dollar industry.
not calling you stupid, just card scanner idea because ive heard it before, and if you were joking, you got me
