After looking into different chip makers, I finally ordered a custom set of chips from pokerchips.com. I went with a custom center with edgespots. I am pretty solid on the color combinations I picked except for the white. this is what I have come up with so far.
1- white/purple
5- red/arc yellow
25- blue/dayglow yellow
50- green/dayglow peach
100- black/dayglow green
500- purple/orange
I wanted to try to stick with color combinations/denominations we use at other peoples houses. I'm just looking to see other combinations anyone else here on the board has seen that looks good. I want to try not using the same edgespot colors twice. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Those are nice combos. What are you doing for a graphic?
I'd suggest dropping the blue chip though, no real need for a 50 chip. Then you can make the 25 chip green, so all your colors match the traditional values.
Oh, here are my colors:
Non-denom chip - Dayglo Yellow/Imperial Blue
$1 - Blue/White
$5 - Red/Dayglo Yellow
$25 - Green/Dayglo Pink
$100 - Black/Dayglo Green
$500 - Purple/Arc Yellow
$1000 - Orange/Blue
$5000 - Chocolate/Dayglo Peach

I am going to use a sheriff star for the graphic with the number printed in the middle. I sent the proof in, but they told me they are backed up with orders so it may take a week or so to get them back. As for the 25 and 50 chip, we will be moslty be using them for our low end cash games. I didn't want to get dollar or cent symbols put next to them so I could use them for cash as well as tournament games.

For whatever its worth, I went with:
White with green edgespots
Mandarin Red with Imperial Blue edgespots
Blue with Dayglo yellow edgespots
Black with Dayglo pink edgespots
The reason there are no green chips is because this set was designed to mimic the set I played with as a teenager, which for whatever reason never included green chips.

I hope your order experience goes better than mine. I eventually canceled my order and went in on the Paulson JB group buy because I couldn't get a response from the art dept. Your inlay sounds pretty simple and I hear they have hired some more people so hopefully your proofs won't take long.
When I placed my order my color choices where:
Red/Black
Green/Dayglo Pink
Black/Yellow
Blue/Dayglo Peach.
Good Luck with your order and keep in touch with them.

yeah, thats exactly what i was going to say, but if it showed all of the possible color combinations the chart would be so big.

Thanks for the responses. The mockup pictures are a help. It seems that the regular blue color pretty dark. How dark of a blue is it?
