I went to barn and nobles and pruchased Small Stakes Hold EM
Authors- Ed Miller/Slanksy someone else
Well anyway It cost 25$ I heard it was worth every penny of it, Anyways I ended up reading all 360+ Pages In 1 night. I then went to barn/Nobles and told them I purchased the wrong book and told them they do not have the book I was looking for, So I ended up rgetting a refund.
Some of you might want to try it .

Barnes and Noble is kind of like a library anyways. Nice cushy couches and chairs. You could read. Take a nap. Get a snack or coffee at starbucks. Come back the next day if you didn't finish.
Or you could "check out" the book like chief did!!

Nice save of $25 there, but can you remember after one night every single piece of advice given in the book? I doubt it, that's why people recommend you re-read books to extract the most information from them.

The good news is Chief read a book, which is better than 90% of the players out there. The bad news is no one can retain more than 10% of the book. It's just too much complex information to absorb with a once-over read.
The good news is he picked a great book. The bad news is he didn't read Winning Low Limit Hold 'Em by Lee Jones first, which is more readable and retainable, easier to go from WLLE up to SSHE.
The good news is Chief knows more, now. The bad news is Chief knows more, now, which will lead to overconfidence, wider swings, and more likely losing more and wondering why, since he read the book.
The good news is Chief saved a bet. The bad news is Chief's a cheap bastard.
Don't take any of this personally, pal. Most of it's tongue-in-cheek. Just remember a famous Mark Twain quote: A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
