Unleeeesssss... anyone else only wants a partial set and wants to go in on it with me? I'm looking to get like 300-400 of them. You peeps should definitely send me a PM on here if you're interested. If there's several people interested we could order multiple sets... maybe they'd give us an even better deal?
lol... this is great. They definitely have to read this forum... every time someone posts a comment about wanting to buy a set of any of their chips, they have a deal going on the next day.

Damn... how many chips do you have so far?
But that would actually work out perfect. We could order two 500pc sets, and then you would get your 600-700 and I would get 300-400. Hell, we could even ask if they'd do the buy 2 get 1 free deal and get a 3rd person in on it. Highly doubt they'll let us, but it never hurts to ask.

ok sure. i only have a little over 500 now but im in the market for low den for cash games. i have already sent them an email with my order BUT i said id call on monday. so maybe you can call them on monday since im in HST and they are 5 hours ahead of me. they close if i dont call by 11am local.

Yeah I can do that. Hopefully a thrid person will join in by then so we can try for a deal like that. Although, if it's just us, I guess we'll just have an extra 500 chips to split up between us.
Are you able to use PayPal? It would probably be the easiest way to do something like this. I live like 4-5 hours from Baltimore, so stuff from them usually gets here in one business day. Then I could ship your chips out to you.

I have a paypal account. ask if they can pay/ship separately so you dont have to go through the trouble of packing and fedex-ing the chips to me. i think thats what the sands people did, i dont know i might be wrong.

Yeah I can do that. I'm sure they won't care about putting 100 extra chips in your order. If they do, then you can just order a set of 500 and PayPal me for 100 or 200 chips and I'll just ship them out when I get mine.

Ive got a set of the new bonds and love them but this is a great deal. I dont really like hauling the paulsons around as they are a little more fragile than the blue chip njs.
Anyway Yeltzen you seemed to haave changed your mind, I thought there was no way you could play with the njs after you handled the paulsons
anyway just asking you seem to flip flop an aewfull lot on the blue chips vs the paulson chips

That was when the Paulsons were priced less than the NJ clays. The NJs are now significantly less than the Paulsons (and they should be), so that's out the window. As the Paulsons got slicker and more marked up, my opinion of them got knocked down quite a few pegs. The chip itself is still superior in terms of sound and weight, but not by THAT much to offset all the design flaws that I dislike about them. I have nothing to complain about the NJs in terms of design. The only complaint I've really ever had was that they were slick... which is becoming less of a problem the more I work them in.
My comments about Blue Chip are about the "Shell" chips. The NJ and MC chips are NOTHING like those.

How do you set up your tourneys breakbeat? 10,000 chips? I'm debating on whether to go with my standard 1,000 per player and get reds through yellows, or go with 10,000 and get greens through greys (5000).

First I like big stacks. It depends on how long everyone wants the tourney to last. 11 or less people we go (short) T1000. chips at 20x$25 5x$100. 1st blind 25/25 10-12min levels or (long) T2000-3000. chips at 20x$25 and the rest black or maybe throw in a purple. 1st blind 25/50 12min levels or a mix of 12-10min levels + antes along the way and maybe a rebuy/addon. With 12 people or more (rare) we usually go T2500 and use the (long) blind schedule and maybe 15min levels. I got the $1000 for rebuys/addons, they are rarely in play. Basicly we copy the Foxwoods schedules simply because we like those the best.

Well that's cool. Are your tournaments pretty fast then?
I planned on just sticking to the 1000 chips plan, but I think I like the 5000 chips too much to leave them out! I think using a 1000 chip structure is more practical, though... it's so nice that this is the only thing I have to worry about at this juncture of my life.

Hahaha, I actually made a big jump in chips... dice chips to NJ ceramics, but I know where you're coming from. I'm assuming you want in on this, though? I'm more than happy to help out in a group buy. Any way we can get the price down even more would be great. I have no problem being the "hub" if need be.

Im picking up 500, I mean why not there tough chips they look great and I wont worry as much about them as I would the Paulsons.
Ive had the Paulson samples for a month now and the wear on them is significant. Not to say they arent going to last a life time of home games but the NJ Clays are much tougher and the colors dont rub.
The white and yellow Paulsons once dirty will never be as clean as new no matter what you clean them with.
Ive tested the Nj clays (Ileft one in a glass of rubbing alchol for a couple of hours and there was no damage to speak of) Thats an impressive chip.

lol... I never thought about that when play testing the chips. glad you guys are enjoying the sale. Not sure how long it will last but I will say we are test marketing the pricing. I can say YOU WILL NEVER SEE PRICING LOWER ON THIS PRODUCT EVER.

I kinda wish I would have known you guys were going to have this sale. That way, I wouldn't have had to buy 100 chips earlier this week to make sure I really wanted a set. I would have just bought a full set today.

Actually the cost is not $.90 vs $1.25. It's $.90 vs $1.16 since you need to subtract the $49.99 from the set cost to cover the case, cards and dice in order to calculate the true per chip cost.
Still a 22.4% discount on the chips and 21.6% discount overall...

It doesn't look like NJ would be willing to drop the price more if we did a group buy, so I don't really see any point in it. The only exception being those that don't want full sets splitting with those that want more than 500 or less than 500.

Man, my Desert Sands better sell on eBay or I'll be putting my car on eBay next. I know a lot of people dislike the NJ clays more than a little bit, but, the more I played with them, the more I wanted them. I'm weird I guess.
