If Player A goes all in with say $150 and Player B only has $100 left. Does Player B's chips go into this main pot or are they kept separate because he doesn't have the $150?

if they are teh only 2 in the pot, player a would get 50 back since player b cant match it. if there was someone else that could call, the 50 that b couldnt match would go into a sidepot for other players that could still bet. i hope that is understandable.

So if Player C had more than the $150 he would just call Player B's $100 and Player A's $50 would go into the side pot. How do you keep track of all these pots? Thanks.
