Don't know if anyone knows, but the Horseshoe in Shreveport is reopening their poker room on Tuesday, 3/22. I plan on going Thursday, and would love to play with some of y'all. Also, does anyone have any information on the games and limits that will be played?

Not sure what they are offering, but Im sure it will be higher limits than the Hollywood. Horseshoe is known for having the highest limits in town. Hollywood has also expanded its poker room. Added several more tables but keeping the same limits.
I will be at the Horseshoe on Tuesday when it opens, but dont expect it to be a short wait. I bet alot of players will be there.

Things went well today at the new Horseshoe Pokerroom.
They offer the same games and limits as Hollywood, but also have 5/10 Limit Omaha.
Nice tables, and half the staff of dealers and managers are from the Hollywood. Funny to see them in a horseshoe uniform.
I kind of like how its sectioned off from the rail birds. Its not a rope that blocks em out, but an actual wall. Nice set up all together. If I remember right, it is the exact same set up they had a few years ago when it was going on.

I'm headed over there tomorrow. How long were the waits for the NL game? What about the higher limit games?

Just got back from my first trip to the Horseshoe. Awesome night. Only played the 2-5NL game and quadrupled my buy-in of 300. The atmosphere is so much better than what I remember at Hollywood. Can't wait to go back
