Ace high or low just means the highest and lowest straights you can have are A, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10, J, Q k, A right?... is around the corner allowed in holdem? going J, Q, K, A, 2 or even Q, K, A, 2, 3.. I don't think it is.. but i've seen some people try to play them
thanks for the help
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

you can only have a straight go to or from the ace, none of the "around the corner" crap is allowed. A2345 or 10JQKA. JQKA2 is not a valid straight.

I think WARP around straights are OK to use in space, not on earth.

Around the corner straights aren't used in standard poker. Once in a while somone will call a game where they are OK in a home game, but it's as tacky as deuces wild.
