A few mountain towns have low-limit gambling around here. One just opened a new poker room.
Check out the house fee on their tournaments:

Is it just me, or are those out of line? Been a while since I've been to a real casino, maybe I'm too used to online taking 10% or so.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Nah, they look pretty reasonable actually. Look at the monthly schedule at the Trop, specifically the Wednesday and Thursday night tourneys.

I would loe those rates. There are two areas around here. the tournaments are $32 + $18. ya, thats an 18 dollar fee. and the best part is if the tournament isnt over after 2.5 hours, the prizes get awarded in order of chip leaders. The other place I place, even though it is twice as far is 32+10.
