Looking to buy 3000 to 5000 chips to hold tournament.

Posted Tue Mar 29, 2005 1:00 am GMT by EChat
I'm having a hard time finding a big number of chips to hold local tournament at a good price. I've tried ebay and I do find good deals, but the shipping cost is crazy per order! If anyone has any suggestions, please help me! Thank you.

good price is so subjective Smile

i will be the first to send you to the 5stardeal "faux clay chips"

5stardeal.com/deals/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=10-1600

Gotta second that recommendation for the 10g faux clay chips, if you're looking for non-denomination tournament chips in a variety of colors. At 6¢ each ($60 for 1,000) plus reasonable shipping, you'll get a decent chip that feels much better than the hard plastic dice chips on eBay.

Most 1,000 sets on eBay are over $100 once you add in the high shipping (some are WAY over $100).

Maybe the Super Diamond chips would fit the bill. Those are cheap and not bad in terms of "durability". Wink

Super Diamond chips for 3¢ each. I own some just like them and they work fine if need a ton of them. I alos highly recommend their aluminum rolling 2000 chip case.

For the extra .03 cents a chips I third the 10g "Faux Clay" chips. The super diamonds just dont even come close to the quality and at .06 cents a piece you just can't beat that price.

www.discountcasinogear.com offers some bulk pricing options and carry pretty much the same chips as 5star. I think their pricing options start at 2000 chips per color though.

They feel like the same material to me, I own some of both. They behaved the exact same way (vs. 22 other chip types) when baked in the oven. Shocked Shocked Shocked

Gambler's General Store has the Mermaid chips. Time to cook those?

They seem a tad more expensive @ $0.15/each.
