First off you 'burn' cards to fight aginst marked cards.
And its a split pot. BEST 5 CARDS

ok I agree with the burned cards but on the second question just to be sure guy 1 has the best hand but the community has a complete hand does guy 1 win or is it a split pot

Saper nailed it. You burn a card so marked decks can't be used. And for your second question, it's a split pot because both of you have a full house 2's over Q's. The one players 8's aren't used since the Q's are higher. Make sense?

ok guys I totally asked the wrong question sorry sorry sorry
1) guy 1 has 8c and 8d
2)guy 2 had kd and 7h
community had 3d 3h 3c 5h 5d
Ok here is my question community had a complete hand full house 3 over 5 but guy 1 had 3 over 8 which is the higher 5 cards we thought we read somewhere if the community had a complete hand it was a split,,

OK now player 1 wins with a full house 3's over 8's while player 2 has a full house 3's over 5's.
