I have a friend who is 18 who is looking for casino play. He heard that legal age in Canada to gamble is 18. Is this true? Also I heard that in California/Florida there are casinos that are run by Native Americans on Indian Reservations that allow players over 18 to play. Can anyone confirm this?

There are some near me that are on Indian Reservations that are 18 and up. The only catches are that they don't serve alcohol and it's all video poker. They have live dealers to supposedly get the "real" feel but they just push the buttons.

The REAL Poker (ie: Texas Hold'em) is 19 yrs and up!
And yes i've played since I was 19 (now 20)

Hey racquet, is that the reservation sorta near Jamestown? Aren't they building some new casino there that'll have poker? Before it was a warehouse full of slot machines.

Err i have no idea Where its near, Its in verona Its a 2 hours drive for me. so i go to it maybe once a week. It has a poker room there, I tend to go late at night and play into the early morning so that theres more tables open. Look it up if you want, Turning Stone Casino Verona, NY

depends where you are in canada, In alberta its 18 for everything, here in bc and most other provinces ( i think? ) its 19 legal age.
